For project 5 I looked through all my four recent projects. My research was a very important part of my projects. It allows me to really look deeper and understand more about my research. With so much information on the Internet, I realized that I needed to keep narrowing it down. Which is how I looked deeper into Oakland, California. Oakland is a city that is near me but is a very popular city used in many movies. It is used to show the poverty of the city and show how dangerous it is. I wanted to look deeper and really see what went on behind the city. There as well as many stakeholders who are very interested and want to defend those who are discriminated against. Many share their own stories and share their opinion on this issue. But I wanted to dive deeper and find the voices of people who are well respected. My stakeholders were both senators of California and are minorities which can really make a bigger impact on their opinion. They understand what their races go through and do not wish they continue to be treated this way. They want to speak up and educate many more on these issues.

Looking back at my four projects really gave me a bigger insight into all the work I had done. It has all been connected since my first project. I first began by looking at all my projects and finding the most important claims I can find. I wanted them to come step by step as it was telling a story. I as well needed to connect it with what evidence I wanted to place to really share the story of it and show the audience what I really want them to understand. The projects we had done all make sense now. It is a pattern that shows the steps we took to get to where we are. I wanna show the statistics that I found from many of the research. One of the main ones that I will be sharing will be research conducted by Standford. It goes into detail about what goes on in the city and how African Americans are being treated. In my writing, I shared many different articles. Some showing people protesting and sharing their opinion on this matter. Translating all my writing into a digital short was very interesting. I wanted to come up with a structure of how I wanted to share everything and really show each step. I translated the important claims into pieces of how I wanted to share them. Some difficulties in this process were to see what I should add in what matters. I am still working on it, but so far I need to make it all come together and make sense. I do not want to ramble and summarize the four projects but make it come to life and really show the importance of it.
